He attended at-tended schools in Provo and later moved to Venice, Calif., with his grandparents. He graduated from Venice high school. He joined the Navy Air Corps in 1943 and served the Pacific area aboard aircraft carriers as a Navy pilot. He had resided in Springville since 1958. He was a member of the LDS church. Surviving are his wife, two sons and two daughters, Paul Dennis, David John, Carol and Elene Simonson, all of Springville; Spring-ville; a stepmother, Mrs. Nora Simonson, Oakland, Calif., and four half sisters. |
