Schreiner Lawrence Astin Schreiner has been called to serve in the West German LDS mission field and will be honored Sunday Sun-day evening with a farewell testimonial in the Fourth ward beginning at 5 p.m. He is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. L. Schreiner. Elder Schreiner enters the mission home, Salt Lake City, Monday, August 14. Margaret Schreiner, sister of the missionary will give the organ or-gan prelude at the farewell and Mary Parker, the postlude. Lawrence A. Schreiner, whose farewell is Sunday evening in the Fourth ward. The congregation will give the opening selection and the Sacrament Sac-rament hymn. Speakers will be President Leo A. Crandall, Glen A. Tipton, Tip-ton, former bishop of the ward and Bishop W. Verl Whiting. The parents will give remarks and the missionary will respond. res-pond. Music will include a number by Margaret Schreiner and the closing hymn will be rendered by a male quartet composed of . Lindsey Parker, Tom Robbins, Howard Ivory and Wm. L. Schreiner. The invocation will be by Dell B. String-ham and the benediction by James N. Astin. |
