Show NOTICE OF INTENTION NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN GIV-EN by the City Council of Springville, Utah, of its intention inten-tion to create a special improvement im-provement district to be known as Springville Sidewalk District Dist-rict Number 9, and of the intention in-tention of the City Council to make the improvements hereinafter here-inafter specified within said district, and of the further intention in-tention of the City Council to levy special taxes as provided pro-vided in Article 7, Chapter 7, Title 10, Utah Code Annotated, 1953, on the real estate lying within said district for the benefit of which such taxes are to be expended in making such improvements. The proposed special improvement im-provement district is located within the corporate limits of Springville, Utah, and the boundary lines thereof are described des-cribed as follows, to-wit: Beginning at a point in the north line of Center Street, Snrine-ville. Utah, which point is 3036.59 feet East and 6.27 feet North of the West quarter corner of Section Sec-tion 34, Township 7 South, Range 3 East, of the Salt Lake Base and Meridian: thence North 120 feet; thence East 8 feet; thence North 105 feet; thence West 40 feet; thence North 150 feet; thence North 18 degrees 20 minutes West 94.87 feet; thence North 170 feet; thence East 175 feet; thence South 57.50 feet; thence East 100 feet; thence South 99 feet; thence East 26.83 feet; thence South 478.50 feet; thence West 240 feet to the point of beginning. The improvements proposed to be made consist of plain concrete sidewalk 4 feet wide and 4 inches more or less thick. Such improvements are to be made and completed in proper and workmanlike manner man-ner in accordance with plans, profiles and specifications on file in the office of the City Engineer, and will be constructed construc-ted on the following street, to-wit: The East side of 1300 East Street from Center Street north approximately 581.93 feet; and The West side of 1300 East Street from Center Street north approximately 589.43 feet. The estimated cost of such improvements within said district dist-rict is the sum of $2,342.72. The estimated cos to the individual in-dividual abutter is $2.00 per linear foot. To defray the abut-tors abut-tors portion of the cost and expenses of such improvements, improve-ments, special taxes shall be levied upon the lots and parcels par-cels of ground to be affected or benefited by such improvements, improve-ments, the same to be assessed according to the front or linear foot frontage upon and against all lots, pieces or parcels of land affected or benefited by such improvements and abutting abut-ting on said street above described. des-cribed. The special taxes levied to defray the abutters portion of the cost and expenses of such improvements shall be paid in ten (10) equal annual installments install-ments with interest at the rate of five percent (5) per annum an-num on the unpaid balance; or the whole amount of the tax may be paid without interest within 15 days after notification notifica-tion by the City Treasurer of the amount due. All protests or objections to such improvements, or to the carrying out of such intention, must be in writing, signed by the owners of the property to be affected or benefited, describing des-cribing such property together with the number of front feet, and must be filed with the City Recorder on or before the 18th day of August, 1961. The City Council at its first regular meeting thereafter, to-wit: to-wit: August 21, 1961, will consider con-sider the proposed levy and hear and consider such protests pro-tests and objections to said improvements as shall have been made.
