Show Senior 'Student : of the Week' 3 Bette Snelson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Galen Johnson, is 1 one of Springville High j School's most versatile and . talented seniors. To read a : complete list of the responsi- bilities and activities that she has performed would be like reading a catalogue of school activities. On many occasions this attractive at-tractive miss has been chosen by popular vote of the student body to represent the school. Numerous outher times she I . : - v ! ; j ; J Bette Snelson has been selected to lead students stu-dents activities because of her ability to work and organize to "get things done." She has been: Art queen, Jr. class secretary, varsity cheerleader, cheer-leader, chairwoman of the Junior Jun-ior Prom and Harvest Ball, vice president of Girls Athletic Association, Girls State representative, repre-sentative, secretary of Future Homemakers and a member of the a cappella choir and steno club. Miss Snelson has also written and performed for many of the high school's programs. pro-grams. To participate in these school activities it is necessary for a student to keep a good scholastic record and Bette is doing just that. She has good grade averages in her classes and does this through hard work and good study habits. Bette works in her church with the same enthusiasm she displays in school. She has won many awards for church activity activ-ity and has served as a primary pri-mary teacher and is presently an MIA chorister. |
