Show Funeral rites held for Karl M. Bleak Funeral services were held Wednesday in the Berg Drawing Draw-ing Room, Provo, for Karl Middleton Bleak, 59, 659 Aaron Aar-on Ave., who died Friday in a Provo hospital of a heart condition. Burial was in the Provo city cemetery. Mr. Bleak was born In St. George July 29, 1901, a son of James G. and Matilda Irene Thompson Bleak. He married Oretta Daniels in Salt Lake City in 1923 and they were later la-ter divorced. He married Doris Wells, in August 1954 in Elko, Nevada. Mr. Bleak had followed the occupations of miner and railroading. rail-roading. He received his education educa-tion in the St. George schools and was a member of the LDS church. He had made his home in Springville for approximately approx-imately 20 years. Surviving besides his wife are a son, Calvin Karl Bleak serving with the U.S. Army in Hawaii; a daughter, Mrs. Wallace Wal-lace (Juanita) Peterson, Sacramento, Sac-ramento, Calif.; step-children, Jay Simmons, Provo; Karen Luce, Provo; Shirley Luce, Springville; Thomas Luce, Anaheim, Ana-heim, Calif. |
