Show Lady Lions give dinner for daughters Daughters of Lady Lions were special guests at a din ner and program Wednesday evening of last week, at the Third-Ninth ward hall. Eighty-seven Eighty-seven members and guests attended. at-tended. President Wanda Peay was in charge of arrangements assisted as-sisted by other officers of the qrganization. : A tribute to the daughters was given by Mrs. Gwen Cutler Cut-ler and her daughter Laura responded with a tribute to the mothers. Linda Christensen of Provo gave a hula-hoop demonstration de-monstration and a group from Spanish Fork, including Mrs. Sherril Ottesen, Mrs. LeRoy Whitehead, Jr., Mrs. J. Ross Nielson, accompanied by Mrs. Haren Hallman, gave an amusing amus-ing hat demonstration. .The dinner tables were beautiful beau-tiful for the occasion with centerpieces of iris and candles and tiny gum-drop nosegays made attractive favors. Each of the guests was presented with a pretty China ring box. |
