Sailor docks ' Dean Mieling, son of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Frederickson, serving with the Navy, one of 1600 men on the USS Yorktown, has just landed in Bremerton, Wash., where the boat will be in drydock for some four months. During the time, the ship will undergo complete ren-ovation, the cost of which is estimated at three million dol-lars. Dean has been in the Navy two years and during the past five months has been on an ex-tended foreign cruise visiting posts in Japan, China, Hawaii and other places. They spent two months in Hawaii. |
