Show Aureole Club hears ' talk on amendments Public Affairs the Political View, was the subject of topic taken up by Harrison Conover at a meeting of the Aureole club held at the home of Mrs. Elden Palf reyman, one evening last week. The guest speaker discussed the pros and cons of the two suggested amendments to the State Constitution to be voted on in the November election. He stressed the importance of citizens attending meetings previous to the Primaries so that the best qualified individuals individ-uals will represent them. President Mildred Newman was in charge of the meeting and short business discussion. Refreshments were served at the conclusion of the program with Mrs. Lynn Alleman acting as co-hostess. Twenty club members attended in, addition to Mr. and Mrs. Conover, special spe-cial guests. Walking is 1 the best exercise if you can dodge those who aren't. Herbert V. Prochnow. |
