Show Utah County economy up, says release Statistics comparing Utah County and all other counties of the state in nearly every phase of economic life are now available in the recently . released re-leased publication A Statisti- cal Review of Utah's Economy, compiled and published by the Bureau of Economic and Business Bus-iness Research, University of Utah. The Volume represents one of the most comprehensive compilations ever made of historical his-torical and up-to-date data on Utah. Utah County's population as of AprU 1, I960 was 106,991 In 1940 this figure was 57,382. In 1958 there were 3,237 births in the county. The average farm size in Utah County in 1880 was 68 acres. By 1954 this figure had grown to 167.5 acres. Mineral production in the County in 1951 was valued at $947,000; in 1958 it had increased in-creased to $1,776,000.
