Show Gratitude C. B. Ewing believes in flowers for the living but he found this week that kind and generous acts can sometimes some-times be rather one-sided, j. Coming from a rest. home in Provo, where he and his neighbor Peter Nielson, had taken bouquets of flowers for the shut-ins, Mr. Ewing found a ticket on his car for parking on the wrong side of the street. He went immediately to the Provo office and was requested re-quested to pay a fine of $2. Later driving on a street much closer into town, he noted three cars parked on the WTong side of the street but with no yellow tickets. He says he will continue to take flowers to the sick folks in Springville but in Provo is another story. A recent " serious illness plus the loss of an arm in a previous accident, has placed Mr. Ewing on crutches and it is difficult for him to get about but he still enjoys growing flowers by himself - at his home 81 West First North and taking bouquets to folks less fortunate than he. |
