He had always been active in civic and church work in Springville, Provo and Ogden. He served as bishop of the Provo Seventh ward and was stake Sunday School superintendent superin-tendent at Ogden at the time of his death. He had also held many other church positions. He had served as vice-president of the Ogden Kiwanis club and was also active in civic affairs while living in Provo. He married Neva Farmer of Escalante, August 17, 1933, in the Salt Lake Temple. Surviving are his wife, two sons and a daughter, Lt. Gerald Ger-ald Kindred, stationed with the Air Force in Seattle, Wash.; Carol and Jim Kindred of Ogden; Og-den; his parents of Springville; a brother Ted Kindred of Tu-junga, Tu-junga, Calif.; three sisters, Mrs. E. R. (Marie) Webster, Rexberg, Idaho; Mrs. Earl (Louise) Fifield, Hollydale, Calif.; Mrs. LaVar (Beth) Nelson, Nel-son, Twin Falls, Ida. - Time and place of the funeral fun-eral services are pending.
