Show Turkeys planted in East Zion Release of seven more turkeys tur-keys in the East Zion planting site was announced today by the Utah Department of Fish and Game. These wild birds, five female and two male, came from the Arizona department as did two earlier plants made in this area. The two previous plants of eleven and fifteen turkeys were made in 1957 and 1958, respectively, and add up to a total of 33 birds planted at this site. The department said field surveys indicate that turkeys will do well in this section of the state, with a normal increase in-crease of birds noted in the earlier plants. |
