Show Sr. High Student of the Week . Editor's Note A series of "Students of the Week" is being be-ing published in the Springville Spring-ville Herald, recognizing students stu-dents in the senior class of the high school student body. A student-faculty committee selects se-lects the student taking into consideration such attributes as citizenship, school service, attitude at-titude and use of capacities. Suzanne Strong Personable Suzanne Strong has always enjoyed school and particularly her years at Springville High. When asked why so much interest in school Suzanne replied, that she liked to study and learn and espe- i i ; ' ! .. . '-. . ' "' ', I- : ' Suzanne . Strong cially to be with people. From her large number of friends it is clear that people also like to be with "Sue." A daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bert Strong, she held many important im-portant positions in Jr. High including student council work and Ninth grade Art Queen. She is a member of Steno and Ski clubs and is an officer in the Pep Club. She also serves ser-ves as Senior Representative on the student council. With a high scholastic rating rat-ing her favorite subjects are in the social studies department. depart-ment. She has always been busy 'in church activities, presently serving as a Sunday school organist and assistant sports director in the MIA. She has won a number . of awards and honors for her participation with religious groups. After high school Suzanne plans to attend BYU where she hopes to take business or be a teacher. ' |
