Show Officers, Remind Of Registration City Police Officer Ray L. Davis this week reminds owners own-ers of dogs that animals for which 1959 registrations have not been secured by February 1, are in violation of a city ordinance. The officer reported that numerous calls have been received re-ceived by the police department concerning damage being done by dogs running loose. This too is against the law. Even when a dog has a registration tag, it is not permitted off the owner's property, he said. Police officers have been instructed in-structed to clamp down on all violations and after Feb. 1, plan to pick up dogs which do not have a registration tag'. People who do not intend to buy a registration for their (Cantinued on Page 8, Col. 2) Officers Remind of Dog Registrations (Continued from Page One) dogs, are asked to take the animal to the kennels at Fifth West Sixth North before Feb. 1. Owners of female dogs must produce a spayed certificate when applying for registration. Police officers also remind bicycle riders that licenses for the bicycles for 1959, are now available. |
