Show Pony Grads League Organized; Play Scheduled for Tues., Thur. Mights Play opened Tuesday night in the Pony Grads league and will continue throughout the summer, following: the organization of the lea- gue this year. Boys 15 and 16 years of age are eligible to play in this circuit. League officers include Frank Hunt, Ray Simkins, Bert Chei rington. Chief of umpires. George Bird; publicity, John Swenson; Sponsors and Managers, Mana-gers, Kolob Lumber, Fred and Floyd Childs; Springville Docs. Norman Woodhouse and Phil Perry; Allentown Cafe, Norman Nor-man and Ron Graves; Haws Heating, Erwin and Wayne Haws. Umpires who have been secured se-cured to work the games include: in-clude: DelMoine Christensen; George Puckett, Dean Warren, Eddie Holmes, Don Eldridge, Martain Reed, Paul Beardall, Verl Wiser, Harry Shupe, Bob Rayburn, Frank Witney, Gordon Gor-don Smith and John Jensen. Scorer, Curtis Allman. Games will be played at the North Park each Tuesday and Thursday nights with two games scheduled at 6 and 8 p.m. |
