Show Camp Cottonwood Holds May Meet Camp Cottonwood met on Thursday at the home of Mrs. Ivy Anderson for their regular May meeting under direction of Captain Naomi Johnson. Mrs. Charlotte Jensen gave the history of her grandfather, Thomas Clements and a short history of her own life. The lesson was given by Mrs. Anderson An-derson on Wives and Children of the Mormon Battalion and Pioneer Poems. Music was given by Mrs. Anderson An-derson and her daughter Betty Diamond, who sang old-time favorites, "Reumatism," "He Held the Lantern while Mother Chopped the Wood," and "Ma." Refreshments were served by Hostesses Helen Reynolds and Violet Barney assisting Mrs. Anderson. |
