AUTO TUBES SENT TO JAIL ; j Two Ogden Men Are Given Thirty Days Each for Stealing a Car. Special to The Tribune. OGDEN, Sept. -6. Rigid prosecution of ruitomobile thieves by the state and coun- ty authorities is indicated in the sen- i tencing; of John Bauchman, alias John Pftcrson, and Roy Walker to thirty days ' in jail, by Judge A. E. Pratt in the dis- t:ict court this morning;. Bauchman and Walker pleaded guilty to the theft of an automobile belonging to Steve Rose. John Hull and Louis Gardner, arrested with Bauchman and Walker, pleaded not putky, and their case will be set for trial later. The defendants are charged with the crime of trespass under the new state law, which provides for a jail or prison sentence, rather than the imposition of a fine.
