Pitcher James Scott, late captain of the United States army and known chiefly to fame as "Death Valley Scotty," of the White Sox, has accepted terms with the Seals for 1J21, thereby setting at rest the rumor that he would quit baseball at the close of tills season and devote himself to business. Manager Graham Is of the opinion that Scott will be the league's biggest slab star next season. Right now, Graham declares, de-clares, he is pitching better ball than any other heaver in the league. He has won his last six games, and they were pitched against Tigers, Angels and Eees, the most formidable hitting aggregation In the league.
