Immediate Action Sought. The plan' of the committee is to have the resolution reach women of every walk mhI station In Ufo. The following en:i-menT en:i-menT of the national organisation is reechoed re-echoed by the Utah committee to show the need for immediate action on the part of the women of Utah: "The greatest ( i lies t ton before the America n people is ihe decision concerning the league-of nations. na-tions. Its ratification is the hope of the world. Women are part of the American people, and the people's opinion is our sovereign. Therefore we appeal to the women of A mertca to make known their co ii clu 61 on concerning the league of nations na-tions at Wasliington. The resolution and signatures are to be sent to t he league secretary, Miss Josephine Jo-sephine Spencer, Tuesday evening next, so that tho document may be sent to Washington on Wednesday. The president of every woman's club, society or circle of friends in Utah'whose sympathies are with the movement for immediate ratification of the pact without amendment Is urged by the committee to take the Initiative in securing signatures to the petition and to forward them to Miss Spencer. The committee urges that this be done immediately In communities outside of Salt Lake City and by wtnvien loachers in the schools. I In order that every Salt Lake woman may ha' e the opportunity to sign the , resolution, headquarters will be opened in ihe southeast corner of the mezzanine of the Hotel Utah from 10 a. m. to 6 p. m. e ery day up to Tuesday evening next.
