Show LIFE IS SAVED BY WORK OF BOY SCOUT A practical demonstration of Boy Scout first aid work was given recently by an Ogden boy in saving the life of a companion, com-panion, according to information given out by Boy Scout officials who have been attending the Ogden council. A scout found a companion who had fallen from a horse and severed an artery on a broken bottle. The boy immediately put into practice the knowledge he had learned of first aid work, and bound the broken blood vessel until medical aid could he secured. Dr. Ezra Rich, who was called to the lad's assistance, declared without a doubt the scout had saved the boy's life. He complimented the scout on the splendid manner in which he had rendered first aid. Oscar A. Klrkham, executive secretary of the organization, did not make note of the boy's name while in Ogden. but declared de-clared yesterday the Junction City scout officials were proud of him. |
