Show LEHI PEOPLE ADOPT BIG CITY METHODS Special to The Tribune. LEHI, Oct. 19. Unique in the political history of this little municipality was. the action taken by Republicans and Democrats, Demo-crats, as well as those of no particular party affiliatipn, in nominating two city tickets at a mass meeting Saturday evening. eve-ning. The attendance at the meeting was the largest ever seen at i similar gathering gath-ering in Lehi, and the interest was intense. in-tense. The two tickets are the "Citizens' " and tho "People's." and the method of selection selec-tion was as follows: Two or more nominations nomi-nations would ho made, and the two who received the highest votes were declared the choice of the convention. The high man in each instance was placed on the Citizens" ticket and the next highest was placed on tho People's ticket. The nominations nomi-nations follow: Citizens' Mayor. James TT. Gardner; four-year councilman, Leo W. Goates; two-vcar councilmen, W. A. Knight, M. S. Lott and John Wood; recorder, A. L. Yates- treasurer, Thomas Powers. People's Mayor, Leonard Peterson; four-year counc;lman. Heber C. Webb; two-vcar councilmen, G. L. Comer, Guy Evans and W. W. Dickerson: recorder. Leslie Goates; treasurer, Joseph S. Broad-bunt.
