A', lien the state board of pardons mirls on August 10, aniMS the usual Kil.-it of applications for clemency there v. ill be read one from Jos. ph Henry Martin, Dgd'in blackmailer, for "parol.-." Mean time, Martin has "paroled" "pa-roled" himself and departed for parts unknown. It is not likely that Martin will appear before tin- board to press his plea for parole, unless he sholud be Tet.ikcn between now and that date, and in tho event that he is it seems unlikely un-likely that Martin's plea for a parole would get a very favorable hearing be-for be-for tho board.
