Show $25,000 DAMAGE IS DONE IN OGDEN FIRE Special to The Tribune. OGDEN. May 12. Damage to the extent ex-tent of $25,000 was done by a fire in the warehouse district shortly before 11 o'clock tonight, when the warehouses of C. F. Grout, Cain & Mitchell and the Intermountain Froduce company were visited by fire. The first two structures were completely gutted. The latter was partially destroyed. Two carloads of baled hay, grain, flour and binding twine in the Grout and Mitchell warehouses were destroyed. The fire burned for about an hour. The department protected the plants of the Kverf resh Food company, Becker Manufacturing company. Continental Oil company and the gas works, all within proximity of the fire. |
