Show PARK CITY WATER SUPPLY AFFECTED g New Service Must Be Found as Result of Recent Re-cent Change in Plans. Special to The Tribune. PARK CITY, May 14. Park City must seek a new source for its water supply as a result of the strike of the miners here. The water supply of the city runs into the main from the Alliance tunnel of the Silver King Coulition mine. The flow has decreased gradually since the pulling of the pumps at that property, although it was of a sufficient quantity to supply the camp witli water. The company now has notified the city council that it must have what water remains for use in its mill. However, it is allowing the stream to flow into the main which carries it to the camp, while the city council is making an effort to solve the problem. No contract will be broken if the company com-pany uses the water for its mill, for the city has acquired the stream under no other agreement than to pay $200 a month for it. ; One solution for the water is that the city get its supply from the tunnel of ' the Martin Gold & Silver Mining company com-pany in Thaine's canyon. It is said that this will take considerable time and outlay. |
