Lester Jensen of I Eden has arrived in New York after an eventful voyage on tho American barken-tine. barken-tine. Puako. from Victoria, B. C, to Capetown, South Africa. During the cruise members of the crew, It is alleged, were subjected to cruelty from W, L. Pedersen and two sons, all of whom have been taken to New York for trial on the charge of, violating the maritime laws. Mr. Jensen will be one of the witnesses against the trio. It is stated that two members of the crew died as a result of the alleged cruelty of the Pedersens.
