Show SALT LAKE .MEN TO ATTEND CONFERENCE At the annual safety congress to be held at Cleveland, Ohio, September 28-Octobcr 28-Octobcr 4, Utah will be represented by J. C. Clark, assistant to the general manager of the Oregon Short Line and the Salt Lake Pioute, and manager of the Salt Lake safety office, and by D. K. Rawlings and C. T. Bailey, assistants assis-tants in Mr. Clark's department. The people of Cleveland are preparing prepar-ing to surpass the record made by St. Louis while the safetj' congress convened con-vened there last year. During safety week in St. Louis there was only one accident recorded. Cleveland's goal is to have no accident during the week. Representatives from the packing plants, machine shops, steel works, automobile au-tomobile companies, railroads, mines and every other big industry where the routine of daily labor is hazardous will join in the discussion of lifesaving by the reduction of accidents. It is sought to eliminate recklessness and carelessness. |
