Show SERIES ADMISSION PRICES LONG FIXED CINCINNATI, Sept. 16. Concerning: recent re-cent complaints as to prices -for world's series seats at Rediand field, Chairman Herrmann tonig-ht said that the prices were decided upon last winter when the National and American leagues held a joint conference in New York. The present pres-ent scale, $1, $2, $3 and $5, was adopted by majority vote. Every National club represented, except Cincinnati, voted in favor of this price. The Pittsburg club representative was absent. Of the American Ameri-can league clubs, by coincidence, the new pennant leader, the Chicago White Sox, aiso voted "No." .."Fans should not forget that the, government gov-ernment is going to get a large share of the world series money as excess profits," Herrmann said. |
