A delightful bridge luncheon was given at the home of Mrs-W. Mrs-W. T. Rogers Monday honoring Mrs. Richard T. Smith on her birthday, the occasion also being the fourth annual Christmas party enjoyed by the guest of honor, Mrs. Hardy Odell, Mrs. E. V. Knudsen, Mrs. J. D. Knudsen Knud-sen and the hostess. The Christmas Christ-mas tree held gifts for each guest and Mrs. Smith received some more; Christmas greeting, Miss Ethel Richards; instrumental quintet, French horns and trumpet, trump-et, Paul Parissenti. Robert Sid-doway, Sid-doway, Ray Pett, Audrey Groves and Mildred Warner; two accordion ac-cordion ducts, Lawrence and Billy Bil-ly Pino; remarks by the retiring board member, Gwynne Page; remarks by the new board member, mem-ber, W. Cyrus Vawdrey. Miss Helen Loveless of Salt Lake City spent last week-end with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. P. O. Loveless. Austin Loveless, a student at the University of California at Berkeley, came homo Sunday to spend the holidays with Mr. and Mrs. P. O. Loveless. Mrs. P. O. Loveless and sons, Austin and Duane, visited Wednesday Wed-nesday in Lehi with Mrs. Loveless' Love-less' mother, Mrs. A. Gudmunsen. Mrs. Guy Murray and Mrs- M. A. Stuart of Sandy were cohos-tessos cohos-tessos at a bridge luncheon given at the home of Mrs J. F. Mead in Salt Lake City Tuesday. Attending At-tending from Copperton were Mrs. James Denver, Mrs- Ray Buckle, Mrs. Mike Brisk and Mrs. Harry Sours. Prizes went to Mrs. Denver, Mrs. Brisk and Mrs. Mead won consolation- The party was a housowarming and Mrs- Mead received some nice gifts for her home. Mrs. Tory Tobiason was hostess hos-tess at a club Christmas party and a farewell party for Mrs Loren Stokes last Thursday evening. ev-ening. Bridge was played until a late hour when refreshments were served- The eight present exchanged Christmas gifts and presented Mrs. Stokes with a lovely going away gift- Mrs. Stokes won both first and honor prizes and Mrs. M. D- Starley won second prize. Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Hansen had as dinner guests Sunday Mr. and Mrs- Earl Peterson of Wan-ship, Wan-ship, formerly of Bingham. O birthday gifts ana also the high prize. Relief society was held Thursday Thurs-day evening at the grade school with Mrs. Joel P. Jensen in charge of the literary lesson- Mr. and Mrs. E. V. Knudsen and son, Jack, spent Sunday at the home of Mrs. H. M. Rasmus-sen Rasmus-sen in Salt Lake City. Tuesday evening dinner guests at the Albert Cheever home were Mr. and Mrs- Cal Christensen and Mr. and Mrs. Bishop of Salt Lake City. Lovely original invitations from Miss Norma Nix, Miss Mar-jorie Mar-jorie Brimhali and Miss Jean Bingham, room mates at the B.Y-U-, to attend a Christmas party at their apartment in Provo Pro-vo on Wednesday evening were received by Mr. and Mrs- George Geo-rge M. Nix, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Brimhali, Darlene Nix, Betty Brimhali and Adiene Hudson. Mr. and Mrs. H. M. Rasmussen of Bingham visited in Copperton and Salt Lake City at their parents' par-ents' homes Monday. A buffet supper following the Senior Hop Friday evening was served at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Odell Peterson. Present were Mr. and Mrs. T. H- McMul-lin, McMul-lin, Mr. and Mrs- Paul Kuhni and Mr. and Mrs. Joel P. Jensen- The Copperton Boy Scouts joined the Bingham Scouts in their trip to Salt Lake City for swimming instruction Friday evening. ev-ening. Miss Margaret Ireland, secretary secre-tary at the high school, is leaving leav-ing Saturday for Phoenix, Ariz-, to spend the entire school holiday holi-day season. Mrs. Roy Barnett, Mrs- G. O-Swain O-Swain and Mrs. Bud Nichol attended at-tended the Christmas party given giv-en by the Firemen's auxiliary of Copperfield Monday evening. Students home for the Senior Hop last week-end were Miss Norma Nix, Marjorie Brimhali, Kenneth Davis, Kenneth Poulsen, all at B.Y.U. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Winn have had as guests for the last five days Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Winn of Mountain City, Nev., brother and sister-in-law of Mr-Winn. Mr-Winn. A banquet for Jordan district principals and members of the board of education and their partners brought seventy-five to the Bingham high school Tuesday Tues-day evening. The Home Economics Econo-mics department under Miss Vcr-na Vcr-na Walker arranged the dining room, which was beautifully decorated, de-corated, and served the dinner-Principal dinner-Principal T. H.
