Show HOTEL MAN LEAVES . , FOR ARMY SERVICE Bert Tack, w-ho has for several years been assistant manager of the Hotel Semloh, left Salt Lake yesterday for Fort Logan, Colo., where ho will enter the quartermaster's division of the United States army. Mr. Tack has made several attempts to get into the service, but up to the present he has been pronounced ineligible on account of slightly defective eyesight. Mrs. Tack will leave for Colorado Colo-rado in a day or two to spend some time with her husband. Mr. Tack's going away occasions a vacancy va-cancy in the organization of the local Greeters, since he has been acting in capacity ca-pacity of secretary. Representatives of the order met at the Newhouse hotel last night to appoint a new secretary, but the meeting was poorly attended and no choice was made. Action will be postponed post-poned till next week. |
