OGDEN", Aug. 9. Carl Flygare, 29 years of age, is the third son of City Commissioner Chris anci Mrs. Amelia Flygare to answer the call to the colors, llo left tonight with the city's quota for Camp Fremont. Fre-mont. The first boy to go was Jame9 Lester Flvgare, 26 years of age. He is at the training camp at the University of Ijtah. The second son to go was George llygare, 18 yeaTs of age, and he left on August 3 for San Francisco for the naval training station. Four of the Flygare sons have offered themselves to the service of their country, coun-try, but thus far three have been accepted. ac-cepted. The first son to offer his services serv-ices was Nels Flygare, 30 years of age, who went to Camp Lew-is last November, Novem-ber, but was rejected after the physical physi-cal examination. Nels is at present employed in the store of Watson-FIy-gare Hardware company, but said he was in hopes that there wa3 some branch of the service in which he can be used. |
