Show MRS. HENRY NEWELL DIES IN SALT LAKE Wife of W?11 Known Mining Man Suc- cumbs at Her Bransford Apartments. Mrs. Rose Newell, wife of Henry Newell, New-ell, Utah mining man with extensive business busi-ness interests in Salt Lake, died yesterday yester-day at her home in the Bransford apartments apart-ments at the age of 66 years. Mrs. Newell, who was born in New York City, August 2, 1852, was the daughter daugh-ter of William and Sarah O'Brien. She received her education in the east, an$ removed to Salt Lake in 1879. immediately immedi-ately after she married Mr. Newell. For a period of twenty years thereafter she made her home at Park City, where her husband's principal mining interests were located. Since 1900 Mrs. Newell has made her residence in Salt Lake. She was a member and former officer of the Park City lodge. Order of the Eastern Star Funeral services will be held at 3 o'clock tomorrow afternoon in the S. D. Evans chapel, 48 South State street, with the Rev. P. A. Simpkin officiating. The pallbearers will be Thomas Kearns, John C. Lynch, James Burke, George Blood Louis Soles and Dan B. Shields. Interment Inter-ment will be in Alt. Olivet cemetery. |
