Among the Utah men seriously wounded wound-ed in the heavy fighting with the United States marines on the western front in Europe is Guy Thomas of Price, who was shot through both hips, June 6, according accord-ing to word received by his parents. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Thomas and Is 22 years of age. He has a brother broth-er in the service. Thomas enlisted in Salt Lake in July of 1017. He went to Mare Island, July 29, to Quantico, Va., November 9, and overseas February S. He was a clerk with the Price Commission company before be-fore enlisting. Two names included in the casualty list last night were Frederick Bell of El-sinore, El-sinore, Utah, and Gustavua I. Lilya of Murray, who are reported as seriously injured. |
