" " -V .i At Christmasfide When the shades of evening Steal across the sky, The carollers are singing Praises to God on high, And peace on earth, good will to men, As Xmas comes around again. May the greetings of the Xmas day Make us thankful, happy and gay, As we tell of the birth of Christ our Kin$ In songs which men and angels sing. Now's the time to bless the poor, With provisions from your store. Now's the time for friends to meet, And everyone the other greet. Peace on earth, good will to men, May it circle the world again. And when Xmas rolls around once more, Let peace reign from shore to shore. Edward Heather : |
