The Copperton Scout troop enjoyed en-joyed a swimming party Saturday Satur-day evening at the YWCA in Salt Lake City. Present were Floyd Cox, Ray Pett, Douglas Golf and Lynn and Glen Pett, chaperoned by Norman Densley of Midvale. Refreshments were later enjoyed at Tylers in Murray. Mur-ray. Mr. and Mrs. B. O. Pumphrey will be guests over the Christmas Christ-mas holidays of their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Lester Moore of Lehi. Invited to spend Christmas day at the home of Mr. and Mrs. O. C. A. Hansen of Spanish Fork. A Christmas Eve cheer party will be given by the second year Beehive girls for Teddy Bethel at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Bethel, Wednesday. Nicholl and family left Sunday evening lor California to spend the Christmas holidays visiting relatives. A Girl Scout Christmas party was given Sunday evening at the home of Bonnie Bethel. Chinese Chin-ese checkers were played and the house prize won by Miss Janice Hansen and first prize by Margaret Nix. Members present were Margaret McKellar, Erma June Gammell, Margaret Nix, Janice Hansen, Carol Peterson, Joyce Miller, Norma Swain, Colleen Col-leen Robison, Lois Groves, Jean-ette Jean-ette Groves, Kathryn King, Carol Pearson. Captain Nona Carrigan took charge of all entertainment. A luncheon was served and a red and green color scheme carried out. Favors were presented to each member at the close of the party. |
