Johnson, 6-1. 6-4. Most of the interest yesterday centered cen-tered around the play of Miss Kate Williams Wil-liams and Miss Alfreda Youngberg. Miss Younberg started out strong and played excellently during the first set. allowing Miss Williams only one game. Miss Youngberg then captured a number num-ber of games in the second set, but M;ss Williams finally hit her stride, and. after ' a -.ard uphiil fight, managed to win, 10-S. , in the longest set of the tourney. From this point on Miss Williams was ahead and she wen the last set handily. ! In the Offiecr-Dimvoodey match. Officer showed up far above Dinwoodey, but ia.eked much nf his pep when ho met Badger. Although it was not expected I'n.U he would have much chance with Garbett. he no doubt would have given him a much harder fight if he had not I nitt LHnwoodey earlier in the day.
