Show YOUNG AVIATOR IS LAID AT FINAL REST Special to The Tribune. V 'SPANISH FORK, Nov. 20. The body of Horace R. Argyle reached here late Monday night from the aviation camp at Palo Alto, Cal., and' funeral services were held yesterday afternoon at the home of the young man's mother, Mrs. Jane Argyle. Because of the illness of Bishop Brockbank, the services were in charge of Nathanial L,udlow, first counsellor. coun-sellor. Miss Bessie Gardner rendered a solo. The invocation was by Ben VOldridge of Provo. Bishop Buttle of Provo and Nathaniel Pudlovv were the speakers. Patriarch William Jex pronounced tlie benediction. Because of the inclement weal her and quarantine regulations the service was necessarily very brief. Interment In-terment was in the Argyle family burial , Pint. ' Horace R. Argyle was born at Spanish Fork, November 28, 1HSR, He was a graduate grad-uate of the University of Utah. For three years he was principal of the high school at Grayson, San Juan county. He left this position to enlist in the aviation avia-tion corps, and while waiting to be inducted in-ducted Into the service he married Miss Kdrth t.'Iuff of Provo. She and his widowed mother, and the following bruthers and sisters survive: Ben F.., William K.. Sterling and Mark W. Argyle, Janic Peddoe.-, Mrs. Hazel Arnold Ar-nold and Miss Afton Argyle, all of Spanish Span-ish Fork. William and Sterling are In (he military service, the latter overseas. The young soldier died of pneumonia. Hs father was Bishop Ben Argyle, recatitly deceased, and well known throughout the 6 tale. |
