All formerly were connected with the engineer officers' training school at the fort, and since the .school was discontinued discontin-ued have been on duty a t headn,uru tors of the 'lo;ird depot engineer organization awaiting discharge. Captain Speler a nd Lieutenant Cur I iff were assigned to duty with the 40" rd engineers, en-gineers, but the others wore not ordered to Camp Humphreys because of the armistice armi-stice and the discontinuance of the engineer en-gineer officers' training schools here and at Camp Humphreys. Captain Speier, who was formerly harbormaster har-bormaster at Portland.
