Show HARRY M. GILL IS MADE A SERGEANT In a letter received vesterday bv Mr. and Mrs. David R. Gill, 258 North Klghth West street, information comes that their son. Harry M. Gill, last Monday was made a sergeant by order of Major General Gen-eral Leitch, commanding at Camp Lewis. The parents are also informed that Harry is just convalescing from an attack of influenza and is considered out of danger. dan-ger. The young soldier went to Camp I,ewis late last August and was made a corporal soon after his arrival. He -has applied himself to his duties, camp officials say, so faithfully that his rank of sergeant ame as a recognition of merit. Harry will be 22 years old next Monday, and is In B company of the Thirteenth supply train. |
