Lewis of the Chalmers company, died nt Jacksonville, Term., of meningitis, according to telegrams reoolyed by his father yesterday. Mr. Lewis, after he had failed to enter the army, being rejected re-jected because of defects of vision, accepted ac-cepted a place with the Du Pont Powder plant in Tennessee. He had been at work there the last several months. Mr. Lewis was a graduate of the West High school and had been an officer of cadets. He was born and reared at Salt Li:ke. He, had been employed by the Capital ELcctric company and Keith-O'Brien Keith-O'Brien company. The body will be brought home for burial. |
