Show UPPER BINGHAM OPERETTA SET FOR MARCH 20-21 An operetta, "When Betsy Ross Made Old Glory", will be presented pre-sented by the Copperfield grade school at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, March 20, and at a night performance per-formance Friday, March 21, at 7:30 o'clock. The matinee is for all children not of school age and admission charges at the evening show will be 15 cents for high school students stu-dents and school children and 25 cents for adults. In three acts, the operetta has been directed by Principal Harold Har-old Nielsen with assistance of Miss Norma Tesch, accompanist, and Mrs. Duretta L. Atkinson, Miss Melda Christensen, Miss Ellen El-len Hansen, Mrs. Laura Hooton, teachers. Main characters are: James Makris as George Washington; Tom Korologus as Colonel Ross; Eugene Halverson as Robert Morris; Mor-ris; Tommy Sotiriou as Captain Anderson; Carol Phipps as Betsy Bet-sy Ross; Members of the Sewing Circle are Katherine Rekoutis as Patience; Isabel Rose as Rebecca; Rebec-ca; Dorothy Pantalone as Jane: JoLene Long as Penelope and Betty Lou Hill as Martha. |
