Show LOCAL STORES CONTRIBUTE TO GREEK RELIEF In a four-weeks' drive by a group of women under Mrs. George Panos and Mrs. W. H Trevarthen, a large quantity of clothing and canned foods has been collected to be sent to Greek Relief Inc. for shipment to Greece. Clubs and churches were contacted con-tacted by Mrs. Trevarthen with the result that 15-20 cases of canned goods have been received. receiv-ed. Under Mrs. Panos' direction, clothing has been made by a sewing group and numerous articles ar-ticles have been obtained from Bingham Merc', the Panhellemc Merc-, J. C Penney company and Independent Grocery. A house-to-house canvass of all Greek homes in the district resulted in further generous donations. do-nations. Articles that will be sent to Salt Lake this week include in-clude 425 pairs of stockings, four complete layettes; 12 dresses, 18 panties, two skirts, seven suits o underwear, three slips, several pairs of shoes, 13 caps all for girls- seven dresses and 51 sweaters swea-ters for women; and for men or boys, nine trousers, 11 stuns, eight sweaters, one pair shoes, four shorts, 14 pairs of underwear- 17 shorts and shirts, eight suits of underwear, seven pairs of drawers and four pairs oi ShMeiting Wednesday afternoon for more sewing for Greek Relief Re-lief at the home of Mrs, Panos were Mrs. Laura Tampakis.
