OCR Text	Show ATTEMPT TO DESTROY BIG LAKE STEAMER MANITOWOC, Wis., Nov. 13. An attempt at-tempt was ma do today by unknown persons per-sons to wreck the steamer War Castle, which is under construction a.t the yards of the Manitowoc. Shipbuilding company, a government yard. While the engines of "the new boat were being tested out at the docks, the boat being held by two "lines, someone cut one of the ropes. The steamer was situated a few yards from the heaT steel bridge crossing the Soo tracks and had it been released or torn from the other line, it would have crashed through the bridge and probably been a complete wreck.
