(Director of Astrological Research Society, Atlantic City, tf. J.) The ruling start above, by secret laws, Determine fortune in her second cause; These are a book wherein we all may read. And all should know who would in lifa succeed. A H USUAL, were we to even enumerate XL all of the recent verifications of our forecasts tee would have no space left for the predictions which this department is especially planned for. Decidedly the most notable verification of our late forecasts (up to the time of this writing) is the definite move for peace instigated by the central powers of Europe. This, in fact, came sooner and with greater emphasis, because be-cause officially proposed, than we had dared to predict. The era of high expenditures, indulgences, indul-gences, luxurious living and generous giving giv-ing which we predicted for December is, at this writing, having fulfillment. All suburban subur-ban railroads report that they are carrying recor&breahing crowds of shoppers to the tt r .I i (( A -9 w k1 r hsfetr One of the certain results of this eclipse will be made manifest in an unusual array of self anointed and appointed preachers, teachers and prophets. big cities; likewise the postal receipts have far outstripped all past records, as we predicted pre-dicted they would. JANUARY ends and February opens under planetary conditions that very strongly suggest chaotic conditions or a general state of confusion, change and uncertainty un-certainty affecting the people and the government. gov-ernment. Accompanying this will be some very freakish weather conditions, with Tovard the end of February the general tendency throughout the country will be for a rather high average of temperature fcr the season. - acute temperature reactions, especially over the eastern section of the country. The solar eclipse on Jan. 23 will not only generate cosmic vibrations whose effects ef-fects will be especially pronounced during the succeeding four weeks but will be productive pro-ductive of long lasting influences which will crop up betimes throughout the remainder re-mainder of the year. In the extreme east of this country a cold spell or blustery storm of unusual se venty iu luumv mis eclipse, wmie m and near the Mississippi Valley some very unusual weather conditions will be experienced, expe-rienced, as well as a record-breaking number num-ber of mishaps affecting mines, factories and buildings. Unusually strong seismic vibrations will be recorded as one result of this eclipse, also windstorms of unusual vigor. The same stellar influences which produce atmospheric disturbances also cause brainstorms in mortals, and one of the certain results of this eclipse will be manifested in an unusual array of self anointed and appointed preachers, teachers Those in authority will be sorely distressed and at their wits' end to deal successfully with the situations situ-ations which may suddenly and unexpectedly arise. and prophets who will undertake to instruct the people in the ways of religious, moral and political reformation. The bountiful Jupiter at the time of this eclipse occupies the house signifying the nation's servants and workers, thereby indicating in-dicating prosperous conditions, but the evil aspect of the cold and treacherous Saturn to Jupiter signifies that the workers will suffer from some form of treachery, scheming schem-ing and subtle hostility in which the repre sentatives of religious and legal institutions will be arrayed against them. In and near the Rocky Mountain region a cold spell of unusual severity will follow in the wake of this eclipse. The .working classes in this region will be discontented and manifest a somewhat surly and threatening threat-ening attitude. For a month at least following fol-lowing the eclipse conditions will be extremely ex-tremely adverse for building and mining operations, and the sensational fall or destruction de-struction of large buildings will likely be reported from one or more places in that section of the country. We find evidences that Lloyd-George, Lloyd-George, Premier of England, has before him a few months of fighting fight-ing against the most treacherous kind of adverse influences. At San Francisco and generally along and near the Pacific coast the more severe of the disturbing vibrations of this eclipse will adversely affect high society and places of amusement and public entertainment The lawmaking bodies of this region will also become Involved In confusion and misunderstandings mis-understandings connected with legislation of a more or less socialistic trend which will arouse great hostility on the part of tlie obstructionists, standpatters and re actionaries. Rather wet and stormy weather along the Atlantic coast states will be more or less prevalent during the three or four weeks following this eclipse. Coincident with or quickly following the full moon on Feb. 6 at Washington and generally over the eastern part of this country there will be a spell of severely cold, bleak and stormy weather, followed by sudden thaws, and toward the end of February the general tendency throughout Disaster for German Navy and Trouble for New British " Premier Are Foreseen j that matter, will be for a rather high aver-age aver-age of temperature for the season. During the last week In February a period of unseasonably warm weather will visit Chicago, Springfield and the Mississippi Missis-sippi Valley generally. Coincident with i; this there will arise some cause of unusual commotion and public excitement which will cause those In authority to be sorely i distressed and at their wits' end to successfully success-fully deal with situations which may sud- ' deuly arise. In short, an epidemic of riotous riot-ous excitement seems to be scheduled for that region of the country during the latter lat-ter part of February. The figure of the solar eclipse of Jan. 23 calculated for Berlin shows the passionate and explosive Mars rising conjoined with the revolutionary Uranus, while the luminaries lumi-naries and Mercury are both In the house of secret enmities and conspiracies and op- ) posed by the nebulous and chaotic Neptune and the cold and contracting Saturn In the bouse which signifies the navy and the servants of the country generally, and the working classes in particular. This Is a configuration which surely prefigures a surly and discontented attitude on the part r,f tha o,-Y-1nT stlaccnc on1 nrnKuhlv nlcn an. tails disasters to the navy as well as an 1 alarming amount of serious illness among the masses. At London the same planets are rising and In the house of life, which indicates the i authorities and populace of England to be in the ascendancy, because planets so situated situ-ated are indicative of the powers being wielded by the government menaced by subtle, far-reaching and baffling complications complica-tions which It ' will be extremely difficult to unravel and solve. The horoscope of Lloyd-George, who has recently become the chief factor fn the government gov-ernment of Great Britain, may now be con- ' sidered as a very dependable index to the duration of the war as well as indicating how the war will end. We have not com- pleted our study of his nativity, but so far j as we have proceeded we find evidences ' that he has before him a few months of extremely ex-tremely hard battling against the most treacherous kind of adverse influences which not only threaten his health but menace him with secret enmities aud conspiracies con-spiracies calculated to produce treachery among his subordinates. Immediately following fol-lowing these, adverse aspects he enters upon a period of his life which will be ruled by the most decided and powerfully good influences, in-fluences, which will insure bim the greatest achievements and highest honors and successes suc-cesses he has ever yet attained. e |
