The Bettilvon Home Builders company com-pany issued a report yesterday stating that, not in many seasons has the rental market shown 'so healthy a tone as during the present -winter. "Our rental ren-tal list, both in the business section ot the eitv and the residential parts of the town, is a great deal larger than ever before, and during the past few months we have received many additional properties prop-erties for rental purposes," declared K. S. Woodward, who is in charge of the Bettilyon rental department, yesterday. "Property owners who are landlords are receiving a very fine return from the renting of their houses and business busi-ness places, and far more money is being be-ing invested in the proper upkeep ot rentable properties than ever before m Salt Lake. I believe this is really the secret of the healthv condition of the rental market at present property owners own-ers have learned to keep their houses in good condition if they want the maximum return on their investments, and, of course, this works out to the mutual advantage of tho landlord and the renter." The officials of the Bettilyon com-panv com-panv report the local investment market mar-ket 'as showing a great deal ol activity at present. The officials state that thousands of dollars are being invested in Salt Lake, property by men who have made a good deal of money m stock and other lines of business during the ' past vear or two and who now seem highly desirous of getting their funds safelv invested in property bringing in a steadv return, aDd where the satety of the principal is assured. |
