Show GETTING READY FOR BIG POULTRY SHOW Will , Be Held in Salt Lake From January Janu-ary 10 to 15, at 54 South Main Street. Preparations are being made for the twenty-eighth annual poultry show of the Utah Poultry association, which will be held January 10 to 15 at 54 South Main street. In connection with the poultry show there will be an exhibit of pigeons and rabbits by the Utah Pigeon and Rabbit Rab-bit club. The poultry association has already received re-ceived a large number of birds from Utah, Idaho, Colorado, Seattle and Los Angeles. An-geles. F. E. F. Hudson of London, England, who was a judge at the Madison Square Garden rabbit show last year, will be judge of the rabbit entries. Dan Duncan Dun-can will act as judge in the poultry division. di-vision. Officers of the Utah Poultry association associa-tion are as follows: C. G. Plummer, president; presi-dent; F. B. Hurlbut, vice president; F. H. Sorenson, secretary and treasurer; J. W. Haslam, F. J. Chamberlain, Dan Duncan and H. W. Smith, directors. Plans for the coming show were discussed dis-cussed by the association at a meeting last night at the Commercial club. Dr. C. G. Plummer gave a talk on some of the features of eastern poultry shows, which he recently attended. |
