Harold Osstie, one of the best athletes ever turned out at thtK; University of Wisconsin, is in Logan to1 take up his new duties as head coach. This position has heen filled in previous years by Clayton Tyron Teetzel. who is still at the head of the physical education educa-tion department. The coming of Osstie may mean the. ousting of Teetzel next year, although-the although-the authorities of the school are unwilling at the present time to say "whether Teetzel Teet-zel will be retained. With Osstie in charge of the coaching department, new ,i methods are expected to be put Into practice. Osstie was end on the Wisconsin football foot-ball team in 1911, 1912, 1913. He won his letter in track, winning the high hurdles hur-dles championship of the Big Nine. Ha played the class teams in basketball. The new -Aggie coach was gradual ei from the civil engineering department. In the fall of IS 15 Osstie coached the football team of the Ripon college and succeeded in winning the college championship cham-pionship of that section of the state. |
