It will require only the arrival of spring and the dissipation of the snow to put Ferber on the map in earnest, according to J. C. Dick, well-known mining operator, oper-ator, who has large interests in this section sec-tion of the Deep Creek country. So extensive and complete are the plans to unite in the development of the town that lumber for numerous houses has already been ordered or-dered and Is now in, transit. "We expect before the summer is over to have numerous cottages, a hotel or two and several stores,'' said Mr. Dick yesterday. "A church and a schoolhouse this year 'ill also probably be erected. Of one thing we feel sure that the Ferber Fer-ber district will within the year prove t ha t it is, in resources and capacity for rapid development, at least the equal of the region that is directly tributary to the Gold Hill part of tho Deep Creek country."
