Show EXPECTORATORS ARE GIVEN DUE WARNING Tn aid of t he campaign to prevent tuberculosis, Chief of Folicc J. Parley White will today issue instructions to all patrolmen anil health officers under his jurisdiction to either arrest or caution all persons who are found expectorating on the sidewalks, in hotel lobbies or In other places frequented by the public. Chief White calls attention to the fact that the city ordinances provide a penalty of from $30 to $r-0 apalnst all persons who are convicted of violating the city health regulations. The state board of health has general jurisdiction over the enfoccment of the health requirements, hut Chief White, co-operating with the hoard, will rlsirllv enforce the ordinances of Ka.it Lake and will summarily arrest every offender, male or female. |
