Show OLD RESIDENT OF WEBER COUNTY DIES John Pelt, 97 Years of Age, Passes Away at His Home in Kuntsville. Special to The Tribune. OGDEN, Sept. 4. Death claimed one of the oldest residents of Weber county, as well as the state, wdien John Felt, 07 years of age, died at his home in Hunts-ville, Hunts-ville, Ogden valley, last night. Mr. Felt had been a resident of l'tah since lS,n. He had been in failing health for several sev-eral years and death resulted from the infirmities of old age. Born in Hjo, Sweden, .Tune 22, 1S19, Mr. Felt was converted to the Mormon faith in 1S50. Two years later, shortly after his marriage to Miss Brether Johnson, he emigrated to tlie United States, tirst residing re-siding in Burlington, Iowa. In ISjT the familv crossed the plains to Utah. Until 1ST! Mr. Felt resided in Salt Lake, then moving to Orantsville. but shortly afterward after-ward he established the present family home in Ogden valley. As an active member of the dominant church, Mr. Felt served fl three years' mission in Sweden and also served for several years as high priest in the Weber and Ogden stakes. During recent years he was awarded several prizes for having hav-ing been the oldest, man attending the annual old folks' outings and also for having been the oldest Swedish resident of the county. Mr. Felt is survived by-six by-six sons and five daughters, sixty-seven grandchildren and forty -six great-grandchildren. The funeral will be held AVednesday afternoon with services in tlie HuntsviMe meeting house at 2 o'clock. Interment will be made in the Huntsville cemetery. Royally Received. Special to The Tribune.
