I 1 After the recent inspection of the Ante- , lope Star property in the Black Rock country of Millard county by several officers of-ficers and stockholders and the published statements of their enthusiasm regarding regard-ing the showing at the mine, a letter received re-ceived at the local offices yesterday from Martin- Knight, assistant superintendent, makes glad the hearts of those who visited vis-ited the ground. Mr. Knight says that the progress in the south tunnel has been so favorable in the ore of shipping grade that he has no doubt as to the future of the mine, even though this were the only side of the mine, announcing that arrangements had been completed for the inauguration of regular shipments not later than the middle mid-dle of next January. Writing of developments in the east tunnel, which is being driven toward the big ore body on the east side. Mr. Knight says that the whole face is improving with every shift and that ha is now confident con-fident that the vein will show a body of good ore within the next three days. Antelope Star has been one of the features fea-tures of the local stock and mining exchange ex-change for the past week, it being worthy of note that the price level has been steadily maintained, although almost every ev-ery other stock on the board has lost a few points. |
